Nein. PTB does not enforce payout caps (limitations). As long as you meet all the requirements of your specific plan such as reaching the profit target, following your plan rules, and remaining compliant with our Terms of Service you are fully allowed to withdraw your profits.

However, there is one important rule all traders must follow:

While there is no payout cap, PTB requires that at least 3% of your account balance always remains in the account.
This is called the 3%-Puffer, and these limitations exists to protect the health of the account and keep it fully operational.

To make it very clear:

This is not optional and cannot be bypassed.
The system will automatically block any withdrawal request that tries to reduce your account balance below 3%.

Think of it like keeping a minimum amount in your bank account so it doesn’t close.

Here’s what it means in the simplest possible terms:

  • If your accounts starting balance is $10,000, and you make 1,000$ you cant withdraw passed $300 (3%) left on the account.
  • You can withdraw $700 (pre split), but NOT the last $300.
  • If you try to withdraw more than the allowed amount, the system will stop you.
  • You don’t need to calculate it the system automatically calculates the 3% and blocks anything below it.

In other words:

This ensures your funded account stays active, valid, and in compliance after the cash out.

The 3% buffer is required because:

  • It keeps the account active and stable
  • It prevents accidental breaches
  • It gives the trader a safe operational cushion
  • It ensures the firm’s risk controls remain intact

This is a standard rule used by many firms, but PTB makes it very clear and simple.
