Rules for 2 STEP Challenge

Step 1 : Initial Profit Target Achievement

50,000$ challenge account as an example :

  • Objective: To pass step 1, each trader must achieve a profit target of 8%.
  • Account Start Value: $50,000.
  • Target Profit Amount: $4,000 (8% of the starting account value).
  • Required Account Balance to Pass: traders must increase their account balance to at least $54,000 to successfully pass the step 1 of this challenge and move to the next step .

step 2: Continued Profit Target Achievement

Objective: traders must achieve a profit target of 6% on their challenge account.
Account Start Value: $50,000 (the balance will be reset back to 50,000$ after passing the step 1 challenge)
Target Profit Amount: $3,000 (6% of the account value).
Required Account Balance for Success: traders must increase their account balance to at least $53,000 to meet the profit target.
Objective: Implement strict risk management protocols by setting drawdown limits based on the original account balance, with adjustments occurring only when the account dips below the starting balance.

Challenge Phase: Steps 1 & 2

  • Start Value: $50,000 (for example)
  • Daily Loss Limit: 7% (up to $3,500 loss allowed per day)
  • Total Loss Limit: 12% (up to $6,000 total drawdown allowed)
  • Drawdown Calculation: Initial drawdown limits are calculated from the $50,000 start value. These limits remain fixed based on this starting balance unless the account falls below this level and resets.
  • Example Calculation:
  • If the account starts at $50,000 for example, the lowest it can fall to is $44,000 (12% of $50,000 is $6,000).
If the account then reaches a new high of $55,000, the allowable drawdown still considers the original balance, thus allowing the account to drop only to $49,000 (12% of $55,000 is $6,600, but the limit is fixed at $6,000, calculated as 12% from the original $50,000).
Challenge Phase step 1:

  • Objective: Qualify for the next phase Step 2 account by completing at least 4 trading day. A “trading day” is defined as a day during which you open and close at least one trade in it.
  • Requirement: you must trade on at least 4 day during this challenge phase
  •
Challenge Phase step 2:

  • Objective: Qualify for the next phase Funded (Live) Account by completing at least 4 trading day. A “trading day” is defined as a day during which you open and close at least one trade in it.
  • Requirement: you must trade on at least 4 day during this challenge phase.

News Trading in Finance

Objective: Take advantage of market shifts caused by major news releases by trading on expected price movements.

Strategy: Traders prepare for major events such as economic announcements (e.g., unemployment rates, interest decisions) or unexpected occurrences (e.g., political events, company earnings). The strategy combines fundamental and technical analysis to predict price effects and plan trades.

Risk Management: High volatility during news events requires careful use of risk management tools like stop-loss orders to prevent large losses.

Platform Policy: Our platform allows news trading. Traders must observe all platform rules and risk controls to ensure they manage risks effectively while trading on news events.

Copy Trading on Our Platform

Objective: We explicitly allow the use of copy trading on our platform, enabling traders to replicate the trades of selected accounts within our controlled environment.

Scope: Copy trading is restricted to internal accounts only, ensuring that all activities are contained within our platform. External accounts cannot be linked or utilized for copy trading purposes.

Key Rules:

  • Internal Accounts Only: Copy trading is permissible only between accounts that are hosted on our platform.
  • Master Account Requirement: The main account used for initiating copy trades must be an account that has been provided by our platform.
Important Note: Although we allow copy trading, we currently do not offer any proprietary tools for it. Traders must use their own third-party tools or solutions to facilitate the copying of trades.

Benefits:
This policy enables traders to leverage successful trading strategies by mirroring trades between their accounts, potentially enhancing efficiency and profitability.

Leverage Use in Trading Phases:

  • Step 1 and Step 2:
    • Leverage: 1:100
Purpose: To enhance the trading capacity of participants, allowing them to manage larger positions with a smaller amount of actual capital, facilitating a higher potential for gain as well as risk.

No consistency rule in this plan !

Rules for 2 STEP Funded

Funded (Live) Account: capital Target Achievement

  • Objective: After successful completion of step 1 and 2, traders move to a funded (live) account where they must achieve a profit target of 7% in order to request payout
  • Account Start Value: for example – starts at $50,000.
  • Target Profit Amount: $3,500 (7% of the funded account value).
Required Account Balance for Success: traders must increase their account balance to at least $53,500 to request their first payout.
(this profits are withdrawable)

Funded (Live) Phase

  • Start Value: $50,000 or the balance at the end of the Challenge Phase.
  • Daily Loss Limit: 5% (maximum daily loss of $2,500 if starting at $50,000)
  • Total Loss Limit: 10% (maximum total allowable drawdown of $5,000 if starting at $50,000)
  • Example Calculation:
  • Starting at $50,000, the account cannot fall below $45,000 (10% of $50,000 is $5,000).
  • If the account grows to $55,000, despite the higher balance, the drawdown is still fixed at $5,000, meaning the account should not fall below $50,000.
  •
Fixed Drawdown Mechanism:

Drawdown limits are based on the original starting balance and remain consistent across all phases unless the account falls below the initial starting value and is reset.

Funded (Live) Account phase:

  • Objective: Encourage consistent engagement and risk management by requiring active trading across multiple days. A “trading day” is defined as a day during which you open and close at least one trade in it.
  • Requirement: Traders must actively trade on at least 7 different days per
month in their funded (live) accounts.

Benefits:
This policy enables traders to leverage successful trading strategies by mirroring trades between their accounts, potentially enhancing efficiency and profitability.

Profit Split

  • Objective: Provide traders with a significant share of the profits they generate, with the option to increase their share through an additional fee.
  • Base Profit Split: Clients receive 70% of the profits generated in their trading accounts.

Enhanced Profit Split: Clients can opt to increase their profit share to 95% by paying an additional fee.

Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA)

in day trading involves making multiple purchases of an asset throughout the trading day to potentially reduce the volatility impact on the overall trading position. Unlike the traditional use of DCA for long-term investments, in day trading, DCA is used to manage and mitigate risks associated with intraday price fluctuations.

How It Works in Day Trading:

  1. Multiple Entries: A day trader will execute several trades, buying shares at regular intervals, regardless of price changes. This averages the entry price of the holdings over the course of the day.
  2. Averaging Down: Traders often use DCA to average down, purchasing more of a stock as its price drops. This lowers the average cost per share and positions the trader for greater potential profit if the price rebounds within the same day.

Platform Policy: Our trading platform permits the use of DCA strategies for day trading. This approach allows traders to spread out their capital investment, potentially smoothing out the entry points and mitigating the impact of volatile price movements. While this strategy can help reduce the risk of significant losses from any single poorly timed trade, traders must remain vigilant of the daily drawdown limits to avoid breaching their risk management thresholds.

News Trading in Finance

Objective: Take advantage of market shifts caused by major news releases by trading on expected price movements.
Strategy: Traders prepare for major events such as economic announcements (e.g., unemployment rates, interest decisions) or unexpected occurrences (e.g., political events, company earnings).

Benefits:
  • This policy enables traders to leverage successful trading strategies by mirroring trades between their accounts, potentially enhancing efficiency and profitability.

Average 1:100

  • Objective: To provide traders with a clear and magnified understanding of specific trading metrics over a given period or set of transactions.
  • Definition: “Average 1:100” involves calculating the average of a particular metric (such as daily profits, percentage gains, or trading volume) over a designated number of instances and then multiplying this average by 100. This magnification helps highlight trends or details that might be less noticeable with standard averaging.
  • Usage: This indicator can be particularly useful in financial analytics to measure performance trends, assess consistency over time, or make projections based on historical data.

No consistency rule in the challenge step!

Activation Fee

Upon successful completion of the 1-Step Lightning Challenge, traders are required to pay a one-time activation fee to activate their funded trading account. This activation fee applies exclusively to the 1-Step Lightning Challenge and does not pertain to any other account plans or challenges offered by Plutus Trade Base.

The activation fee varies based on the funded account size:

$99 for a $20,000 account

$129 for a $50,000 account

$159 for a $100,000 account

This activation fee is separate from the initial challenge fee and must be paid prior to the activation of the funded account. Please note that the activation fee is non-refundable.

Rules for Lightning Challenge

Profit Target Achievement for Funded Account.

50,000$ account as an example.

  • Objective: you must achieve a profit target of 7% on your funded (live) account in order to request a payout .
  • Account Start Value: Each account is funded with $50,000.
  • Target Profit Amount: you must earn a profit of $3,500, which is 7% of the funded account value.
  • Required Account Balance for payout: you must increase your account balance to at least $53,500 to meet the profit target.

Trailing Drawdown with Fixed Threshold

Starting Account Balance: $50,000

Drawdown Calculation:
Dynamic Trailing: The drawdown limit is always set at 4% of the original balance, amounting to $1,500. This means your account must not fall below $48,000 initially.
Transition to Static: Once you achieve the 7% profit target, resulting in an account balance of $53,500, the drawdown becomes static. It then remains fixed at a level that is 3% higher than the original starting balance of $50,000. This sets the static drawdown at $51,500.

Stopping Condition:
Static Drawdown Activation:
The static drawdown activates once the 7% profit target is reached and remains fixed at $51,500, regardless of any further account highs unless you withdraw earnings.

Reactivation of Trailing: If earnings are withdrawn, the drawdown reverts to its original trailing mechanism, recalculating at 4% of the adjusted account balance.

Drawdown Limit:
Initial Limit: $1,500 based on a starting balance of $50,000.
Static Limit: Fixed at $51,500 once the 7% profit target is achieved.

Example:

Starting Balance:
you begin with $50,000.

Initial Drawdown Limit: you must ensure your balance does not drop below $48,000.

Achieving Profit Target: you trade well and increase your balance to $53,500, achieving the 7% profit target. The trailing drawdown now becomes static.

Static Drawdown Set: The new static drawdown is fixed at $51,500.

Withdrawal Effect: If you decide to withdraw part of your earnings or all of them, the drawdown reverts to trailing, recalculating at 4% of the new balance post-withdrawal.

Funded (Live) Account step:

  • Objective: Encourage consistent engagement and risk management by requiring active trading across multiple days. A “trading day” is defined as a day during which you open and close at least one trade in it.
  • Requirement: Traders must actively trade on at least 7 different days per
month in their funded (live) accounts.

Funded (live) account phase:

  • Objective: Provide traders with a significant share of the profits they generate, with the option to increase their share through an additional Add-Ons.

  • Base Profit Split: traders will receive 70% of the profits generated in their trading accounts.

With Add-On Profit Split: traders can increase their profit share to 95% by paying an additional fee by adding this Add-On.

* traders need to add this Add-On when they buying the challenge account ,after the account is created its impossible to add it later on.

This magnification helps highlight trends or details that might be less noticeable with standard averaging.
  • Usage: This indicator can be particularly useful in financial analytics to measure performance trends, assess consistency over time, or make projections based on historical data.

The consistency Rule is designed to promote consistent and disciplined trading throughout your evaluation period. This rule helps in developing a balanced trading strategy by limiting the impact of exceptionally large profits on any single day, thereby encouraging traders to aim for steady gains over time, which is crucial for long-term trading success.

Explanation:

  • Objective: To ensure that traders do not rely excessively on one highly profitable day but rather demonstrate consistent performance throughout the challenge period.
  • 15% Consistency Rule: Under this rule, the profit made on your single most profitable day cannot exceed 15% of your overall profit target.

Example:
  • Challenge phase Account Profit Target: $6,000
  • 15% Consistency Rule Calculation: 15% of $6,000 = $900. This means that the most profit you can make in a single day without exceeding the rule is $900.

Scenario:
  • Within the Rule: If you make $800 on your best trading day, you are within the 15% consistency rule.
  • Exceeding the Rule: If you make $1,200 on your best day, you have exceeded the rule since this amount is more than $900.
Consequence of Exceeding the Rule: If you earn more than 15% of your initial profit target in a single trading day, you must keep trading until that day’s profit no longer exceeds 15% of your total earnings.
Initial Profit Target: $6,000

Example:
  • Large Profit Day: You earn $2,000 in one day.
  • Comparison to Limit: $2,000 is more than the 15% limit of $900 (15% of $6,000).

Required Action: Continue trading until the $2,000 is 15% or less of your total earnings, ensuring a more consistent trading performance.

Rules for Adventure step 1

Profit Target for the 1 step adventure challenge :

500,000$ account

Objective: To pass this 1 step adventure challenge, you must achieve a profit target of 4%.
  • Account Start Value: Each account starts with $500,000.
  • Target Profit Amount: you must earn a profit of $20,000, which is 4% of the starting account value.
Required Account Balance to Pass: you must increase your challenge account balance to $520,000 to successfully pass the challenge.

Trailing Drawdown in challenge step.

50,000$ account

total drawdown: Maintain the account balance within a trailing drawdown limit of 5%.
  • Account Start Value: Each trading account starts with $500,000.

  • Drawdown Limit: The maximum allowable loss is $25,000 in total, which represents a 5% drawdown from the starting balance.

  • Minimum Account Balance: you must not allow the account balance to fall below $475,000 at any time.
           daily loss limit
The daily maximum loss limit is $4000. This means that you should not exceed a loss of $3999 in a single trading day to continue trading the following day.

If losses reach or exceed $4000 during a trading day, the account will be terminated.

Additionally, the total allowable loss for the account is capped at $25,000. To manage your trading effectively, it’s crucial to monitor and close trades to ensure losses do not surpass $3999 daily, while also keeping an eye on the cumulative limit of $25,000.

you must trade on at least 30 days during this challenge phase

Each day Client trades, his activity is logged and counted toward the 30-day requirement. Days without trading activity do not count toward the total.

maximum trading days- The trading challenge is set within a strict time frame of up to 40 days. You are required to successfully complete the challenge between 30 and 40 days. Failing to pass the evaluation within this 40-day period will result in the termination of the challenge.

Stable daily average

Objective: To promote a balanced and disciplined trading approach throughout the evaluation period by limiting the impact of exceptionally large single-day profits. This rule is designed to ensure traders demonstrate consistent performance and do not overly rely on one highly profitable day, which is crucial for long-term trading success.
5% Consistency Rule:
  • Under this rule, the profit made on your single most profitable day cannot exceed 5% of your overall profit target.
Explanation:
  • Challenge step Account Profit Target: $20,000
  • 5% Consistency Rule Calculation: 5% of $20,000 = $1000. This means the maximum profit you can make in a single day without exceeding the rule is $1000.
Scenario:
  • Within the Rule: If you make $1000 or less on your best trading day, you are within the 5% consistency rule.
  • Exceeding the Rule: If you make $4000 on your best day, you have exceeded the rule since this amount is more than $1000.
Exceeding the Consistency Rule
Consequence of Exceeding the Rule: If you earn more than 5% of your initial profit target in a single trading day, you are required to continue trading until that day’s profit no longer exceeds 5% of your total earnings. Additionally, the challenge has a cap on how much profit is counted towards the challenge completion each day. Any profit over $1000 per day will still count as only $1000 towards the challenge’s requirements.
Example:

  • Large Profit Day: You earn $4000 in one day.
  • Comparison to Limit: $4000 exceeds the daily profit cap of $1000.
  • Required Action: You must continue trading to ensure your daily profit aligns with the 5% rule, but only $1000 of the $4000 will count towards the challenge’s profit target.

To successfully pass the challenge, you must accumulate at least 20 days of trading, each with a recorded profit of $100, to meet both the daily cap and the 5% consistency rule. This structure ensures a more consistent trading performance throughout the challenge period.

Rules for Adventure Funded (live) account rules

no profit target needed in order to request payout !!

Static drawdown on Funded (live) Account.

  • Static Drawdown: In this funded account, you are permitted a total loss limit of $10,000 from an initial balance of $500,000. This means that the account balance must not fall below $490,000. If it does, the account will be automatically terminated.
Static Drawdown Explained: Static drawdown refers to a fixed amount of loss that a trader is allowed to incur from their initial account balance before the trading account is terminated.
It is a protective measure set by trading firms to limit financial risk.
In this specific example, the static drawdown is set at $10,000 on an account with an initial balance of $500,000.
Regardless of any gains that may increase the account balance above the initial $500,000, the static drawdown limit remains constant. This means the trader is always restricted to a maximum allowable loss that brings the account balance down to $490,000 at most.
If the account’s value decreases to $490,000 or lower, the trading privileges are automatically revoked to prevent further losses.
This rule ensures that traders adhere to disciplined risk management practices, maintaining the account within the set loss limits irrespective of trading highs reached.

To be eligible for a payout, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum Trading Days: Engage in at least 5 trading days.
  • Profit Share: You receive 95% of your earnings.
  • Trading Freedom: There are no additional rules governing how you trade with this account.

Minimum Withdrawal Amount: The minimum amount that can be withdrawn is $1,000.
Example: Suppose you have traded for 5 days and accumulated earnings of $800, bringing your balance to $500,800.
At this point, you are not yet eligible to request a payout, as your earnings are below the $1,000 minimum withdrawal threshold.
You would need to continue trading and earn at least an additional $200 to bring your total earnings to $1,000.
Once your account balance reaches $501,000, you may then request a payout of $1,000.
